We were proud to partner with Adobe to bring CHARACTERIZED to the Venice of the North as part of Adobe Creative Days! With an emphasis on expressiveness and creativity, Adobe Creative Days was where creative leaders, designers, developers, video professionals, photographers and more came together to exchange ideas and inspiration. CHARACTERIZED Stockholm 2013 brought a dynamic mashup of character designers with C&P's experimental team format.
In this competition, 3 teams of 2 designers were challenged to design a seal that visually and conceptually represents an individual and their family or group. The competition was made up of 3 onstage rounds. In the first 10-minute onstage round, competitors prepared a black & white seal sketch. In the second 10-minute round, they prepared a second black & white sketch of the second seal. After round 2, the audience determined for each team their choice of seal between each team’s 2 sketches. In the final 15-minute round, the teams added full detail in color, texture, and style to the seal.
